Featuring powder coated solid steel and aluminum construction, highly reliable powerful Linak actuators, top grade electronics, options & customization, as well as design and final assembly of both the display and base in our facility in California.
In addition to plan review, markup, or takeoff, effortlessly adjust the display from a fully vertical to a comfortable and ergonomic angle using the intuitive front-mounted control paddles. This flexibility enables personal use and team collaboration with ease.
Options such as side monitors (one or both sides), a keyboard tray, a side mounted laptop tray, webcam, and a graphics grade PC, turn this into a comprehensive and powerful system.
The Volanti Plan Review table is compatible with all Microsoft Windows PC applications - these include Bluebeam, Procore, SmartUse by Stack, Planswift, Plangrid, ArcGIS, permit approval applications, planning & collaboration software such as Trello and eplan table viewer applications as well as digital whiteboard and presentation applications.

The side monitor(s) provides an additional window for other applications. The laptop tray is great for BYOD (Bring Your Own Device). The keyboard tray easily accommodates a full size keyboard and mouse. The backup battery option has a power failure alarm and should comfortably provide time for saving work and shutting the system down in the event of a mains power cut. The Volanti Plan Review Station with large touch-screen can be used with your PC, laptop, Microsoft Surface Pro or optionally supplied with a powerful mini workstation.
The Volanti Plan Review Station design and final assembly is done in our facility in Morgan Hill, California. This includes the touch screen display and the base table.
Structure & Enclosure:
- Display: We specifically designed the touch screen display for plan review, that means that unlike off-the-shelf displays it is designed to withstand being used on our electric plan review cart at an angle or vertical. The display housing is aluminum and the cover glass on the front is 3mm toughened glass.
- The plan review cart, also custom designed by us, parts are fabricated locally and then assembled in our Morgan Hill, Calfornia facility. We use both steel and aluminum to achieve the optimal balance between strength and weight.
- The display and cart are powder coated, this is an industrial grade coating.
Actuators: Used for the electric height and tilt adjustment, they are high quality actuators selected specifically for our application. These are controlled using the easy access paddles mounted on the front edge of the table.
Electronics: Brand quality components and sub assemblies such as Digital View display electronics as used by many companies in the USA for high reliability display products.
Wheels (option): 5" Thermoplastized Rubber (Black) swivel with pedal lock. They provide a smooth, cushioned ride and offer floor protection, are non-marking and non-conductive. Rated to 225lbs per wheel.
PC (option): HP graphics workstation, this is normally mounted on the accessory bracket together with the optional power reel and backup battery which can all fit under the easy access equipment cover.
The Volanti Plan Review Station with large 55" 4K resolution touch screen table is a versatile and ergonomic solution for all applications such as plan review, mark-up, take-off, permit review and other visual review applications. Users include city planning departments, fire departments, construction companies, architects, engineering companies, colleges & universities, USA government departments.
As a digital plan review table, we see Bluebeam, Procore, SmartUse by Stack, Autodesk, Plangrid, Planswift, ProjectDox amongst the popular applications. PDF versions of drawings, blueprints and siteplans are readily viewed, managed, marked up and communicated.
The Volanti Plan Review Station 55" screen size is comparable the ARCH E1 paper size as the image below shows. While the digital display benefits from zoom and pan creating a huge virtual window, it provides the big picture as well as all the details.
