What software does the tablet run?

Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC, so it runs the same construction software you already use on a desktop — Bluebeam Revu, Procore, AutoCAD, Revit, PlanSwift, Navisworks and anything else built for Windows. Nothing to port, and no cut-down mobile version to work around.

Can it be used outdoors, in rain or with gloves on?

Yes. The screen is optically bonded with an anti-glare treatment and runs at 800 nits, so it stays readable in direct sun, and the touch layer has switchable rain, glove and stylus modes. The body is IP65 sealed against dust and water jets.

How long does the battery last, and what happens when it runs out?

Around 11 hours on the two supplied batteries. They are hot-swappable, so a fresh pair goes in without shutting the tablet down or closing your drawings. A separate charger is available if you want a set on rotation.

How tough is it, in testable terms?

It is tested to MIL-STD-810H for shock, vibration and a 3 ft drop, and to MIL-STD-461G for electromagnetic compatibility. It operates from -20°C to 60°C (-4°F to 140°F).

Can I use it with a Volanti plan review display?

Yes. Connect over USB-C and the tablet drives a compatible Volanti touchscreen, so the same computer, applications and files carry from the field to a 43", 55" or 65" screen back in the trailer or office. See the Volanti Plan Review Tables.
