Yes, if you have a connection from the display to the PC using a USB-C cable.
Never. Markups are written to a sidecar .pvm file in the same folder as the PDF. The original PDF is left untouched. Use Export when you need a flattened PDF with markups baked in for sharing.
No activation required. Plan Viewer detects a connected Volanti display and unlocks automatically. The trial timer never appears. Updates are pushed alongside the table firmware.
Yes. If you are on a Volanti display, then it works completely offline.
For paid licenses, activation requires an internet connection at the moment you paste a license key. After that, the license is cached locally and re-validates roughly every 14 days — enough to allow for a construction-site connectivity gap.
