Touch specification: The InGlass™ touch screen works by passing light through the glass, it is an implementation of a technique referred to as FTIR. Touching the glass interrupts the light and this is detected by calibrated sensors. The benefit of this is that only positive contact with the glass is detected so there are no false touches, also it does not rely on electrical conductivity so works reliably with gloved hands.
