Google Chrome – Improved Touch-Screen Support Coming

As reported by Techradar, Google Chrome (Google’s very popular web browser) is set to become more touch-screen friendly as shown by a version in the development channel. Some of the changes already shown include interface modifications to make it easier to touch various functions. As the actual release is probably 5 months away there are likely to be a lot of other modifications in that time – in any case it is good to know that Chrome is heading in that direction.

Microsoft Windows 10 is already very touch-screen friendly with a tablet mode that effectively changes the user interface so a keyboard and mouse are not required, and in normal mode it provides an on-screen keyboard. In addition Microsoft Edge, the browser, has ink enabling on-screen markup.
