The Volanti 55″ sunlight readable outdoor display is a fully weatherproof design to IP-65 standard but unlike alternatives there are no fans. Instead heat is managed by:
- Advanced high bright display design that minimizes heat. Significant for a display of this brightness the power consumption is rated to approx. 132W;
- Enclosure design that uses thermal conductivity to effectively dissipate heat;
- Vents that allow the passage of air for ventilation and heat dissipation, yet prevent moisture intrusion and remain liquid tight;
- A filter membrane that is both hydrophobic and oleophobic, and prevents moisture and particulate contamination;
- The use of pressure compensating seals to prevent buildup of pressure inside of the enclosure due to environmental temperature cycling.
